PANCHAKARMA RETREAT
A deeply personalised residential Ayurvedic programme, guided by qualified practitioners and allowed to unfold at the pace it requires.
From your initial consultation to your meals, therapies and daily rhythm, each element is selected around your constitution, present needs and capacity.
This is not a rushed spa detox. It is a considered period of preparation, focused therapy and restoration within the privacy and comfort of Olive Creek.
Minimum stay: 7 nights
A Traditional Process, Thoughtfully Delivered
Panchakarma is one of Ayurveda’s most established therapeutic traditions. Rather than relying on a single treatment, it brings together a carefully sequenced period of preparation, specialised therapies, nourishing food, rest and restorative care.
At Olive Creek, your programme begins with an individual Ayurvedic consultation. This allows the practitioner to consider your natural constitution, current state of balance, lifestyle, energy and relevant health information before shaping the programme around you.
The process is unhurried and closely supported. Your days have structure, but the intensity and selection of therapies are not identical for every guest.
What matters is not how much can be fitted into your stay. It is how thoughtfully each stage is approached.
Who This Retreat Is For
Panchakarma is more involved than a conventional wellness break. It is best suited to guests who are comfortable following a carefully guided daily rhythm.
You are seeking an authentic and more immersive Ayurvedic experience
You feel tired, heavy or out of rhythm after a prolonged demanding period
Your daily routines, rest or eating habits have become unsettled
You would like time away from constant stimulation and responsibility
You are open to a structured programme of therapies, rest and prescribed meals
You want professional guidance rather than attempting a cleanse on your own
The Three Stages
of Your Retreat

1. Preparation
Purvakarma - The opening stage prepares you gradually for the therapies ahead. Your practitioner may introduce specific meals, herbal preparations, oil-based treatments, heat therapies and adjustments to your daily routine. The aim is to allow the body and mind to settle into the programme rather than forcing an abrupt change.

2. Personalised Therapy
Pradhanakarma - The central stage is shaped around your consultation and response to the preparatory period. Selected classical Ayurvedic therapies are introduced according to your needs. These may include practices such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Swedana, Nasya or Basti where considered appropriate by the Ayurvedic practitioner. Not every therapy is suitable or necessary for every guest.

3. Restoration
Paschatkarma - The final stage allows the programme to conclude gently. Meals, treatments and activities are adjusted to support rest and a gradual return to a more normal rhythm. You will also receive practical guidance to help you continue appropriate routines after leaving Olive Creek. The current Olive Creek programme describes Panchakarma through these preparatory, principal and restorative stages, with therapies selected according to the guest’s individual protocol.
Your Retreat Includes
The following reflects the current seven-night programme framework. The precise order and selection of treatments may be adapted following your consultation.

Ayurvedic Assessment
Your programme begins with a private Ayurvedic consultation, supported by body composition analysis and personalised recommendations. Before departure, you will also receive practical lifestyle guidance to help you continue the benefits of your retreat at home.

Ayurvedic Therapies
Your stay includes two to three personalised Ayurvedic massage sessions, one to two Shirodhara treatments and individual cleansing support. Additional traditional therapies may be introduced where considered appropriate by your practitioner.

Mental and Emotional Support
Two to three individual counselling sessions provide space for guided introspection, quiet reflection and emotional rest within a calm, supportive environment.

Nervous-System Support
Two acupuncture sessions are complemented by three meditation or breathwork sessions, together with guided relaxation practices selected to help you settle more deeply into the retreat.

Physical Restoration
Your programme includes two yoga sessions, a far-infrared session, two sauna sessions, two hammam sessions, two guided nature trails and one aqua-gym session.

Healing Nourishment
An individual nutrition consultation informs your personalised Ayurvedic eating plan, with daily programme meals and herbal infusions provided throughout your stay.
Ayurvedic Nourishment
Food as part of the process
Meals are not treated as a separate part of your stay. They form an important part of the programme itself.
Your food is selected around the direction of your Ayurvedic plan, with emphasis on warmth, simplicity, nourishment and ease. Ingredients and portions may be adjusted during the different stages of your retreat.
This is not a fasting programme or a restrictive weight-loss diet. The intention is to create a consistent, supportive eating rhythm that works alongside your treatments and rest.
Dietary requirements and allergies should be shared before arrival so the team can determine how they can best be accommodated.
The exact rhythm remains yourS

Common Questions
Explore answers to your enquiries about our Panchakarma retreat package.
Panchakarma is a structured Ayurvedic programme traditionally combining preparation, selected therapeutic procedures and a period of restoration. At Olive Creek, the programme is shaped around an individual consultation rather than applying the same treatment schedule to every guest.
The Signature Panchakarma Retreat requires a minimum stay of seven nights. A longer programme may be recommended or requested where more time would be beneficial.
Not necessarily. The name Panchakarma refers to a classical group of therapeutic actions, but the appropriate treatments depend on the individual. Your practitioner will determine which therapies are suitable for you.
It can be, provided the programme is considered appropriate following your health assessment. The team will explain the process before your stay and guide you throughout it.
Please share allergies and dietary requirements during your enquiry. The team will assess how these can be accommodated while maintaining the direction of your Ayurvedic programme.
Share all current medication and relevant medical information before arrival. Do not discontinue or alter prescribed medication unless instructed by the medical professional responsible for your care.
Submit your preferred dates, accommodation choice and relevant information through the enquiry form. Olive Creek will review your requirements and return with a personalised recommendation, quotation and payment link.
